Overview: This is an introduction to Professional Project Management from the perspective of a techno-dweeb who morphed into a Project Manager.

Gray Jones

 

Mr. Jones has managed the full life cycle of multi-million dollar projects from inception to deployment, has had profit and loss experience as a program manager, and has been responsible for all technical aspects of projects including systems and software analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance as well as data center construction and operations.  He has substantial experience at turn-around situations, has managed multi-tiered organizations, and has implemented significant process improvements at both operational and strategic levels.  He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black, has been an SEI software process assessor, and has management, engineering, and management consulting experience, and is currently the Director of Programs for Northrop Grumman’s Intelligence Systems.  He has extensive teaching experience in systems and software engineering, program management, Lean Six Sigma, and has taught Applied Statistics at the graduate level.
